Doesn't Matter if it's Black or White
From the day I opened my net-a-porter update and saw these botties I knew they would stand stand alone as the ultimate fall shoe. The Christian Louboutin "Emily" shoe-boot is the perfect match for black tights, a high waisted pencil skirt, skinny jeans, wide-legged trousers, and any fall dress. Be aware I will be using these in fall outfits soon!
Fall Purchase -> Elizabeth and James
The Olsen twins line The Row has been selling out at Barneys and Bergdorf's and I must say that I am a big fan. I love the sheer white tees and the simplicity of the lines and colours, with most items in black, white and grey. The one issue I do have is the very high price points attached to these items. Yes, I am aware they are using top of the line fabrics and the tailoring is supposed to be amazing. As ahead of the fashionista pack as the Olsens are, they do not have the longevity and background in design to support the hefty price tags accompanying their garments. $3,220 Tuscan lamb-fur coats, $1,700 cashmere tuxedo jackets with three-quarter sleeves, $875 banded strapless dresses, $360 legging-style pants.
On the contrary their cheaper and more reasonably priced line Elizabeth and James is fantastic!!! I am in love with almost every piece. Fur trimmed blazer $995, Skinny stirrup pants $220 (SO HOT WITH HEELS), Au Revoir dress $360, hooded jacket $425.
Enjoy the pics!

The "Indy" bag
The "it" Bag line up
Fall is a fresh fashion season where the adaptation from summer dresses to outer wear becomes apparent with the change of the colours of the leaves. Fall fashion is centered around layering, big knits, bomber jackets, capes, tights, scarves, trenches, blazers, wide leg trousers, skinny and highwaisted jeans, boots and booties of all kinds and especially..... the BAG. Whether it be a shoulder, hand bag, tote or clutch this season's bags are all about attitude. Lots of hardware, quilting, rouching, patent leather, and of course bold metallics. Here are some of my personal favourites.
BACK IN BUSINESS
Hey everyone! I wanted to apologize for my 4 month break from blogging. Near the end of my 3rd year I just didn't have time to manage my blog with studying for exams and tingready to move to NY. I am back now with tons of new fashion advice, styling advice, news and reviews of the Spring 2008 shows. I was lucky enough to work backstage as a dresser for L.A.M.B, Miss Sixty, Nautica, BCBG, and Badgley Mischka at the tents in Bryant Park. It was a surreal experience that i will never forget along with my entire summer interning in the fashion industry in New York.
